San Diego Long Term Recovery Group
The Long Term Recovery Group is a collaborative network composed of nonprofits, community organizations, and government partners committed to supporting San Diego’s recovery efforts following the January 22nd floods. This group leverages the strengths and resources of diverse stakeholders to address the ongoing needs of affected individuals and neighborhoods, ensuring coordinated and sustained assistance. By working together, they provide comprehensive support that includes housing repair, financial aid, mental health services, and community resilience initiatives to help San Diego residents rebuild and recover effectively.
The mission of the San Diego 2024 Flood Long Term Recovery Group is to provide recovery services to individuals and families affected by the January 2024 flood in San Diego County. Services will be provided regardless of the individuals’ race or ethnicity, creed, gender identity, disability, citizenship status, or religious preference. The goal of the San Diego 2024 Flood Long Term Recovery Group is to see community members recover to the fullest extent possible from the disaster.
